We have had to suffer endless videos of former Oldco stars and managers come out and beg the *Rangers fans to celebrate their achievement of reaching the Europa League final but to please, please, please, please behave themselves.
Even an open letter from John Greig was published yesterday to beg ‘the best fans in the world’ to behave themselves whilst abroad.
And you know what speaks volumes after yesterday?
The message I got from all those videos was ‘It’s ok to do what you like here, but not over there’
If only they spread the same message at home eh?
But alas, it’s not meant to be.
But what is weird is that journalist Jean Johansen felt the need to tweet out her pleasure that a train full of Rangers fans behaving themselves on their travels is what you ‘love to see’.
Or something like that. Since tweeting it out, she has locked her account after being made to look a wee bit foolish celebrating *Rangers fans behaving themselves like everyday normal human beings do on a daily basis.
Tells you all you need to know about what we are all expecting to happen.
Enjoy the best of the replies to this daft tweet:
The fact you feel the need to highlight that people are acting like normal, adult human beings as they are expected to do on a train is hilarious!

My kid went to school today. Didn’t fight anyone, didn’t do drug, alcohol or sing nasty songs. She’s always done that, apart from that one biting incident in nursery.
I wouldn’t normally tweet about this but maybe I am missing the opportunity to give praise on normal behaviour?
