“I can’t believe they fell for this”, “Cannae make it up”,” Here’s a puzzle ; “years the back banter are” – Second Sevco sponsor goes bust after being outed as a scam

Ibrox Stadium

They will do anything for a quick pound won’t they?

Not too long ago Rangers kickstarted a commercial partnership with SportemonGo. Now I am not going to even pretend that I know what the hell this venture was all about because the more I read about it the more confused I get.

And generally, when anyone asks you for money for something that you don’t understand, you should avoid it like the plague.

But alas, two clubs in Scotland didn’t. Hibs.

And, yep, you guessed it. Rangers.

As the Ibrox club had struck a deal with the crypto currency business, it had the SportemonGo name emblazoned on the back of their shirts. Now with, likely, thousands of unsold strips rendered useless, the Ibrox club will need to wave goodbye to future income as they will need to either dump them or try and salvage what they can from the ruined stock.

I mean who does that?

Who tries to trick people into believing that they are buying into something that really isn’t what it claims to be *shifty eyes*.

Couldn’t be more fitting in my opinion. Enjoy the meltdown:

Absolutely brilliant!

  1. Thing is, the shirts will be ok. After a couple of washes the logos disintegrate anyway.
