I like football banter. There is not a set of fans that do it better than the Celtic fans. No question.
So when Dumbarton Football Club tweeted this about former Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths:
The banter that followed was brilliant. For a while.
But as per usual, the dregs of a certain football club simply cannot take to twitter to comment on anything Celtic or otherwise without resorting to the usual muck and mire of child abuse and ‘peado’ comments.
I genuinely don’t get the mindset of anyone who’s go to is to to think about child abuse as a tool for banter.
It is abhorrent and genuinely disturbing.
I wrote this morning at how this very subject was the centre of a twitter storm last night as *Rangers fans aimed disgusting and sectarian abuse towards young girls Irish dancing outside Celtic Park yesterday.
These fans really need to have a long, hard look at themselves and realise that this heinous crime should not be used to point score in football. Ever.
