Rangers’ defeat at Dingwall against Ross County opened up a floodgate of hilarity for the Celtic fans last night.
For too long we have had to listen to the Scottish media peddle a narrative that Brendan Rodgers and his Celtic side were out of the title race after a drop in form in December and in February.
But as the title race hots up, Rangers had two games to catch Celtic after the 3-3 draw at Ibrox last week put us in the driving seat with just five games to go.
However, Rangers had two games in hand and could have closed the gap on Celtic if they picked up three points in Dingwall.
Their bottle crashed as did their title dreams and after the 3-2 defeat to the second from the bottom club, the Ibrox supporters let their ‘heroes’ know exactly how they felt at full time.
Stan Collymore puts the boot into Rangers
But Stan Collymore didn’t hold back. In fact, the former Aston Villa and Liverpool man who is a dyed-in-the-wool Celtic fan, posted an iconic Celtic celebratory song as Philippe Clement’s Rangers made the four-hour journey back to Glasgow.
It must have been an uncomfortable commute but not as uncomfortable as the Belgian with the sad face at Ibrox who most definitely was not living it up:
Stan isn’t a stranger to showing his support for Celtic and today he didn’t miss a trick:
Celtic fans love Stan Collymore’s Rangers trolling
As always, the Celtic fans were quick to jump on the social media post and they let the Brummie legend and the Rangers support know exactly what they felt about the post:

Now, I’m not daft, I know there is still a long way to go but for now, we’ll leave the last word to Brendan Rodgers:
