Celtic fans rinse Philippe Clement after Rangers manager’s comments ahead of Dundee game tonight

The pressure is on Rangers to win their game in hand against Dundee tonight after the Ibrox club’s draw with Celtic on Sunday.

Once again, Philippe Clement’s team failed to beat Celtic when it mattered and now face a situation where they must win against Dundee to take the Scottish Premiership top spot.

However, as rain threatens to call the game off for the second time in the last two weeks, the Rangers manager was on Sky Sports crying about preparation in an interview that sounded like Clement was getting his excuses ready.

Have a watch of this:

As you can see the video went viral as fans of Celtic and Dundee sent a few home truths to Clement for his continued and incessant moaning.

The Belgian’s mask slips as the pressure of the title race ramps up and now he is letting his true face show as he gets to grips with the realisation that his team are not as good as he believes they are.

Anything but a win in Dundee is imperative and Clement had that opportunity to do just that last week when the Wednesday before the Glasgow Derby was free.

For whatever reason (we know the reason) Rangers didn’t want to play it last week and now they face the prospect of the game being postponed again tonight.

And that has led to some start messages from the Celtic fans to the Rangers manager:

  1. I tend to side wae big “seagulls following the trawler”. Every other rule in Scottish football is bent to accommodate the tribute act, why change now?
