‘He’s a machine’ – Celtic told they have a player who is being ‘failed’ by his teammates

The great thing about this Celtic team is that they have players with incredible engines. Players like Alistair Johnston.

The Canadian has been a great signing since joining last January and despite having a dip in form lately, Celtic do still rely on him.

Recently, Johnston has been described as ‘a machine’ by A Celtic State of Mind‘s Kevin Graham.

Kevin was talking up Johnston when he said that the right full-back and Greg Taylor are being let down by the men in front of them.

Graham said (A Celtic State of Mind), “Again it’s that right-hand side and Alistair Johnston is a machine. He’s an absolute machine. And I feel so sorry for him and Greg Taylor in that team with that midfield in front of them.

“They are leaders on the park even when they are not playing well.

“They are ones that are trying to carry the team up and down that pitch and they’ve got people in front of them failing them, especially the midfield.

“The midfield are failing them.”

Johnston has showed his value to Celtic over the past 15 months. Shining in his maiden season, Johnston was never left out the side when joined in Januar of last year.

His pace, power and aggression is something that is badly needed in this side and it’s just unfortunate that we don’t have other players with those attributes.

With just nine games left to go in the league, Celtic need players like Johnston to be firing on alll cylinders.

Let’s hope he continues to impress as Celtic’s chances of winning silverware are greatly enhanced with him in the team.
