Former Celtic hero, Chris Sutton has named Rangers midfielder in his top five list of worst divers in football.
Sutton and Cantwell have a history of needle between the two of them and just when their war of words had started to calm down, the ex-Celtic man lights the blue touch paper with his latest post on social media.
Promoting his latest It’s All Kicking Off podcast, Sutton put Cantwell number five in his list of football’s worst divers just behind Jack Grealish, Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes and former Spurs man, Harry Kane.

In December, talkSPORT motormouth, Adrian Durham, once claimed Mezut Ozil should watch Todd Cantwell DVDs to become a better footballer and Sutton didn’t miss with this reply, “If I was Todd Cantwell I’d watch Callum McGregor DVDs…”
In 2020 after a poor tackle whilst at Norwich City, Sutton tweeted, “Todd Cantwell has gone full Robbie Savage…”

And in a Glasgow Derby back in 2023, Cantwell was famously captured taking water away from Reo Hatate at Ibrox.
When a punter called Cantwell a clown, Sutton replied on social media, “Harsh on TC.
“In fairness to Todd he needed to make sure there was sufficient water saved to make his hair look good…”
Sutton just knows how to get under the Rangers midfielder’s skin and no doubt there will be a reply coming up soon.
So keep an eye on TikTok as Cantwell loves to dance his troubles away on that particular social media platform.
In between trying to win penalties, of course.
