Celtic’s late win over Motherwell has kept the pressure right on Rangers at the top of the league and gave the fans a much-needed boost ahead of the away trip to Tynecastle.
With just two points in it, there is still loads to play for but at one point it did look like Celtic were about to drop two more points before Adam Idah and Luis Palma grabbed them and took them back to Paradise.
The Celtic fans could not take another disappointing result, however, Brendan Rodgers was more philosophical about a possible draw with Motherwell and these comments here have really annoyed the Hoops support:
The Celtic manager knows the feelings of the fans after his team were roundly booed off after a 1-1 draw with Kilmarnock at Celtic Park.
Celtic fans are furious with Brendan Rodgers
With the current run of fixtures coming up, every point is a prisoner and Rodgers’ comments drew a mixed reaction from the Celtic support:
Shocking comment so if we did draw he would be fine with it

Hes right. However, that 4 pts is only on paper. Its the performances that are worrying the support. Performances like that first half don't claw back 4pts.

A celtic manager willing to accept a draw…ridiculous

Patronising the paying fans… could he be any further detached from the reality of the situation… a situation brought on entirely by themselves at the club I might add

Rodgers should, quite rightly, be lauded for masterminding this afternoon’s comeback but for the love of God Brendan, read the bloody room!
