As Celtic prepare to face Motherwell this afternoon, Police Scotland are also putting their pre-match preparations into place as well.
With a real title fight now underway and the fixtures coming thick and fast, it seems the Police are expecting running battles this afternoon at Fir Park after their latest announcement left the Celtic fans absolutely fuming.
Obviously, I was being sarcastic when I said they were expecting running battles but what other reason is there to deploy such measures when there is no reason to?
Clearly, this is just another case of Police Scotland treating football fans, namely the Celtic fans, with contempt.
I have written on Born Celtic on a number of occasions about how law enforcement in this country observes, records and treats the Celtic fans like criminals even though no criminal activity is taking place.
Strangely, there was no announcement like this made for the Ibrox fixture yesterday where 50,000+ threw out their usual sectarian bile from the Govan stands.
It’s little wonder these Celtic fans were raging at the announcement yesterday.
Away and catch some real criminals, how much is this costing to Police a football game? What a waste of taxpayers money….

What about investing in a pair of ears and taking a visit to Ibrox. Sectarianism & racism totally not a problem. As long as it's your own youse are looking after.

Were these in attendance at Murrayfield yesterday?

It's spelled 'surveillance'

Tinpot. Spend your resources catching actual criminals.
