Many will ask why I’m calling Sevco’s being in a title race as pressure on the Ibrox club.
Well, it’s quite simple. The last title The Rangers won was during COVID season. The fans couldn’t attend the games which meant less pressure was on them to back the team. Because we all know they don’t cope too well when their team doesn’t perform.
And now they are in the stadium and the closer they get to Celtic, nerves and fear spreads like the flu and last night, that’s exactly what happened the longer the score stayed at 1-1.
And when Dujon Sterling got sent off that fear spread like wildfire and it inspired this crazy thread on Follow Follow.
The thread started with this, “I keep banging this drum. Our video department should be making videos the decisions we face from these corrupt refs: Walsh, Clancy, Robertson, Collum
“There is a mountain of evidence against them. Yellow cards, red cards, goals chopped off.
“Play clips side by side of similar incidents where we are penalised and other teams get off scot-free. It’s a weekly occurrence.
“It’s actually got that bad I’d even welcome us asking for foreign refs for big games because make no mistake these cheats are willing to put their careers on the line to cheat us.”
Now, there is only one club in this country that has benefited from ‘honest mistakes’, no wait, patterns of assistance.
And against Aberdeen the Ibrox club have benefited twice. Last night when the ref and VAR failed to award a penalty for a Goldson handball and in the League Cup Final.
But the thread triggered all sorts of moonhowling on the fan forum at the Sevco fans went into conspiracy overdrive.
One fan said, “We simply don’t get any soft fouls, and our opponents dive all over the place and get them, every game.” whilst another said, “Who would take enough notice that would result in change happening?
“The SFA don’t give a toss. Videos don’t have to be released to know that.“
Another wants the SFA exposed for cheating, “The OP is bang on the money expose the total corrupt SFA its a Cabal.” and another bemoaned the diving (I know, Cantwell, right?) of their opponents, “We simply don’t get any soft fouls, and our opponents dive all over the place and get them, every game.”
One Sevco fan wants social media action, “It highlights the corruption and shows these b*st*rds up for what they are cheats. Tag the %^*& out of whoever we like.” Tag them on X, that will show them!
That lot are absolutely mental and it’s little wonder no one innScotland takes them seriously.
