Celtic’s defeat to Kilmarnock and the general malaise surrounding the team’s performances this season have made the fans sit up sharply and take notice.
Everyone from Brendan Rodgers, to the new signings are all copping some flack and now, it’s the turn of the Celtic board.
The fans are starting to realise (if they hadn’t already done) that the Celtic suits are the ones holding the club back and it couldn’t have been summed up better than this major Celtic fan account.
Taking to social media outlet X, popular account ‘bhoysviews’ said, “Ask yourself this.
“If Rangers had our finances and we had theirs, do you honestly think we would be right on their coattails or would we have had a boot on our throats and be miles behind?
“That’s why Lawwell and the Board should be removed.”

And that is the zinger right there. Those of you old enough to remember will recall that when Celtic were going through their troubles in the 90’s, Rangers moved heaven and earth trying to bury us.
Unfortunately for them, they ended up in hell because of it but the point still stands.
The Ibrox outfit used all manner of means to stay on top during that period then continued to do so after Celtic got their act together.
And whilst I am not advocating Celtic use such means what I and many other fans would love to see us a desire from those at the top to keep Rangers under our boot.
Of course, it won’t happen because this Celtic board have history of messing up when the club is dominant so why change now?
