Ange Postecoglou reacts to Jota ‘offside’. He may change his mind when he sees the footage

VAR is causing all sorts of controversy in the Celtic circles.

For three games in a row, our club have fallen foul to some contentious VAR reviews that is seriously eroding the fans confidence in the new technology.

With the fans in uproar, Ange Postecoglou took a more philosophical approach.

Speaking to BBC Sportsound, Postecoglou said, “It was a great goal, but if it’s offside then it’s offside. I have no problem with VAR, just use it when you need to.

That’s the perfect example if that’s offside.

“I haven’t seen it but it’s a good time to use it.”

I would suggest that Ange take a look the first chance he gets.

He may change his mind.

Even after Celtic TV showed the angle that the officials used to deem it offside, my initial reaction from that still was that it proved Jota was ONSIDE.

It certainly seems like a joke of a decision and it is little wonder Celtic fans are continuing to question the officials in this country.
