“Horrific”, “A catastrophe is just around the corner” – Blue on blue as Follow Follow still call for Gio’s head

Borrowed time the Ibrox fans are saying. Papering over the cracks.

Even after their win today, the Ibrox fans remain unconvinced that Gio is the man to take them forward for the rest of the season.

With only two points separating Celtic and Rangers at the top of the table, the Ibrox club are under serious pressure since their heavy European defeat on Wednesday night.

But some paracetamol was required over at Follow Follow as there are still a lot of bears with sore heads this afternoon.

Comments on this thread show quite clearly that the fans are still split on the Dutchman despite their 2-1 win away to Motherwell today:

“First half was horrific, second half was good. Play like that second half every week in SPFL and we’ll rarely drop points.”

“A catastrophe is just around the corner with these tactics.”

“We are absolutely directionless, almost all our main players are declining and we play with absolutely no purpose or strategy.”

“Stumbling our way to the World Cup break like a drunk going home from the boozer.”

“Another substandard performance that we somehow found ourselves with a relatively comfortable 2 goal cushion but somehow end clinging on for dear life. Gio is on borrowed time it’s so obvious I don’t know how any Rangers fan couldn’t see it. Another turgid performance with so many players below their usual standard. A moment of brilliance and a set piece got us over the line thankfully. Please just make the change Rangers.”

The pressure is still on Gio it seems and I don’t even think a comprehensively in the Premier Sports Cup will take any of the heat off him.
