Former Celt lambasts ‘in trouble’ Ibrox board

The Ibrox board are some laugh aren’t they?

I mean they must be in some state if Frank McAvennie is ripping them two days in a row.

Last night, Macca called them out for their childish antics surrounding the new Sky Sports SPFL deal and this time, the former Celt takes aim again after the price fixing scandal.

“I think it’s great that Celtic are coming out with that with the trouble on the other side of the city,” he told Football Insider.

“You don’t know what’s going on over there because people say they’re in trouble and then chairmen come out and say they’re ok. It’s a different kettle of fish.

“But Celtic are in a good place, they’re growing, they’re buying decent players and they’re gradually getting there.

“When Ange has wanted money he’s been getting it. I think they totally trust him so there won’t be a problem there.

“All I wanted this year was to do well in Europe and they’ve done it for me. I know the Shakhtar [Donetsk] result was poor but they battered them, just didn’t score. From where we were last year, we got put out of three tournaments in one season. I’m delighted with where they are.“
