I despair at social media. I really do.
The platform can be used for good. It highlights racism and bigotry and unites people in the fight against sectarianism.
But it also gives a platform to the morons. Those people devoid of critical thinking and continually cross the line between banter and just outright sectarianism.

Clearly an attack on the Rangers Fans Against Bigotry account, this social media account was created this month and it has appealed to the lowest common denominator of their fanbase.
Looking at that post, their clear lack of education should prepare you for what their timeline will be full of, and they didn’t let anyone down.
Their disgraceful Lisbon Lions tweet should be condemned by all football fans but looking at the replies, it is clear, there is an element of their fans that love this type of ‘content’.
