“That went for Rangers.. We don’t highlight that here” – Follow Follow and James Black have a referee meltdown

The referee’s have never been under as much scrutiny as they have this season. With a £40m bounty at stake with automatic entry into the Champions League, it seems that as Celtic get the benefit of the doubt of refereeing decisions and *Rangers seemingly don’t, the Govan fans are all in an outrage as the Hoops still sit proudly at the top of the league with only eight games to go.

We all know what they are raging. Normally they get the benefit of the doubt from the referees. Hell, they STILL get the benefit of the doubt from the refs, but they are so blinded by rage that when we do, they lose all sense of rationale.

Now bear in mind this. What I am about to report on was not Celtic getting a dodgy penalty (like they always do), or a fickle red card (again, like they do) or the opposing team denied a penalty (like they always do) but a corner.

Celtic got the benefit of the doubt over a dodgy corner. That was it. Not a free hit from twelve yards. A corner.

And the Follow Follow account on twitter came away with this belter:

And not only that, James Black had this over reaction to it:

A corner. Not a goal.

Now obviously the corner then led to Celtic’s first goal, but before the ball hits the back of the net, the Livingston players need to defend it. With ten men behind the ball.

They didn’t and that sent them into calling for the ref to not officiate another game.

But all the while conveniently forgetting that their own team benefitted from a referee mistake that allowed them to score in their own 1-0 win against Aberdeen:

It’s fair to say Ange has them cracked and its only going to get worse as the season goes on.
