I will take no lessons in class from a racist. Or The Daily Record

Why is this guy even getting a platform to spout his rubbish?

Former Rangers star(?) Maurice Ross has been interviewed by The Daily Record for his opinion on Giorgos Giakoumakis comments that the big Greek believes the club will win the title.

Now, I don’t have an issue with any rival former player hitting back on his opinion about one of our players because that’s just what we do.

A bit of back and forth.

But what I will not, and cannot accept, is a racist telling one of our own that he ‘lacks class’.

Maurice said of Giakoumakis’ comments, “I think he needs to be a bit more humble.

If I was in the *Rangers dressing room, those comments would just be fuel for me. Celtic were better than Rangers two weeks ago, that we can all agree on.

I think the Rangers players would agree on that as well.

“But Celtic have been top of the league for about 10 minutes this season,”

“A wee bit of humility and a wee bit of respect would be a better way of going about your business. But there’s no doubt this will be used as fuel by that Rangers squad.

For those comments, that’s a lack of class if you ask me.

Lack of class? From a guy that said this of his own teammate, “Reminds me of one of those African players who is actually much older than he says he is”. Yer awrite mate.

Asking Ross for his views on class is like asking Harold Shipman if takin ten paracetamols in one go is ok?

The Daily Record dropped the ball big time on this. The sooner we stop clicking on this rag, the better.
