It’s fair to say they were warned.
They were warned that they were burning money by signing a guy that can barely see out one ninety minutes a season but they still believed he was the best signing since Gazza.
Even that statement makes me laugh.
£2m loan fee and only, what, just over 90 minutes in three games so far and the superstar signing of Aaron Ramsey is proving what every other football fan in the country knew what he would be.
A complete waste of money.
I would go as far to say as is he was signed to deflect the heat off Gio after being schooled at Celtic Park in the 3-0 humiliation in the Glasgow Derby.
But some would say I am being an old cynic.
But here’s the thing. He’s only played 94 competitive minutes since signing for them.
Not even taking into account his wages, that’s an incredible £21,276 per minute.
Burning money at the same rate as the dead club they are pretending to be.
And it looks like the penny has started to drop with the Ibrox supporters as they lambasted the player on the clubs official twitter feed:
