They really are a special breed this lot.
Turning on their hero’s, to turning on their legends.
They are now turning on themselves.
And my God, it’s magic.
Maybe it’s watching Celtic strengthen whilst they blunder about looking for pre contract signings whilst losing players and emergency recalling players from loan that’s done it. It’s got to be right?
Who knows. But as Jermaine Defoe bid farewell to the new club and their solitary trophy, one simple tweet set the Ibrox fans amongst each other:
Quite a simple statement right? Wrong. Cue the outrage:
Look at it in the club’s view he’s on good money and not playing we need to release funds for contracts and we also have to trim the wage bill. Players like Defoe Simpson Kelly leaving either released or on loan will release funds in the short term.

He got a contract in Summer as a player/coach then the guy who gave him it went off and didn’t take him with him. Rangers have been left with him on a decent wage with no realistic chance of playing. I don’t think Rangers have anything to apologise for.

You feel sorry for a multimillionaire that has lived the dream of playing football for a living 🤷🏻♂️.
A very successful living at that💰💰💰.
As i approach the end of my 4th 14 hour shift in row, I wonder if he feels sorry for me 🤔— S306LSP (@LspS306) January 12, 2022
