“Best thing is to part ways” – Mutiny at Ibrox as wee Barry turns on Alfie

It’s not looking good for the Colombian striker is it?

As the pressure grows on Gio, the Rangers fans are looking for blood (not up to their knees this time) as they try and sniff out a scapegoat for the state they find their club in.

Whilst the fans scream for Gio’s head, Barry Ferguson believes there is one man that really needs to leave the club as soon as possible.

Wee Alfie.

The man everyone hates except the punters at Ibrox is now under the spotlight and when Barry turns, you know your time is up.

Speaking on The Go Radio Football Show, Ferguson said of the striker, “I’ve always been a supporter of Morelos and I still think he’s a good striker.

“Now, you can go on about ‘he’s not played enough football’, but he still needs to show a bit.

“His touch was away off, he was misplacing passes and I just didn’t think there was a work ethic there within him.

“On Saturday, I was expecting a much better performance. During the week against Hearts when he came on, I thought he actually did really well and I’m thinking ‘right he’s back again’. But watching that on Saturday, he was really poor.”

“I just think the best thing for both Rangers and Morelos is they part ways.

“Whether someone will come in for him in January I don’t know. Whether he’ll want to stay until the summer and go on a totally free transfer, we just need to wait and see.”

Brilliant isn’t it?
