£4m Brendan Rodgers signing is ‘very keen’ to leave Celtic in January

Celtic are already in the process of getting players out the door who have no future under Brendan Rodgers.

So far, the Celtic manager has allowed Stephen Welsh and Odin Thiago Holm to leave the club on loan as the Hoops duo struggle to command a place in Rodgers’ starting XI.

It also seems like Luis Palma is on his way out of the club as reports suggest he could be on his way to Rayo Vallecano by as early as next week. [Deportes TVC]

But it seems that there is another player who actually wants to leave Celtic 18 months after Brendan Rodgers paid over £4m for him according to journalist, Pete O’Rourke.

Maik Nawrocki ‘very keen’ to leave Celtic in January

O’Rourke said on The Inside Track, “Nawrocki, my understanding is he is very keen to secure a move away from Celtic in January, if possible.

He’s only played five minutes this season, so he’s well down the pecking order in Brendan Rodgers’ plan.

So I think it would suit everybody if he was maybe to move on.”

Nawrocki has failed to impress at Celtic and it’s clear the Polish defender is not fancied by Hoops manager, Rodgers.

The sooner the 23-year-old moves on the better because at his age, Nawrocki needs game time and it’s clear he will not be getting it at Celtic.
