I love these kinds of debates between Celtic fans because regardless of what the overriding opinion is, we have been blessed to have Nicolas Kuhn and Jota at the club.
Jota was a sensational player for Celtic as he dazzled the fans on the wing with his skill and trickery and how he captured their hearts off the pitch too.
Nicolas Kuhn and his electric pace and ability to beat defenders has also captured the imagination of the Celtic fans this season after he struggled to settle into the club after a short illness after signing in January.
With Jota now looking to kick start his career in France with Rennes and Kuhn kicking it in the Champions League, a debate raged on X between some fans as to who is the better player.
Celtic fans are loving Nicolas Kuhn and Jota
After he helped Celtic put Slovan Bratislava to the sword, Kuhn is the man of the Celtic fans lips right now and he sparked a debate after this supporter posted his opinion on the pair:
And it’s fair to say this caused a little stir on social media over the last 24 hours:
Jota’s better, has better end product. Kuhn like to take about 4 touches before he releases the ball. Needs to work on it a lot more.

Very balanced and fair was that last Celtic fan. Next up:
Jota is more eye catching but the measure that matters most is chances created and goals scored.

If Kuhn makes more chances scores more goals his contribution is better.
We’ll get ah better picture this year noo that he is fully fit.
Can’t argue with that either. Here’s another:
Kuhn has been looking great so far this season but still a long way of matching Jota, mate. pic.twitter.com/NZpYb2T7vH

That was a great piece of nostalgia. Next:
Bit early to say, I think they are diffrent type players, but Kuhn is quality addition, with loads of pace and great delivery

Although there were a few dissenting voices in the crowd:
you cant be serious here

Honestly man, a few good games a folk start having short memories.

Jota was different class in a celtic shirt, a winger with unbelievable consistency, his stats were incredible!
Like I said earlier, I am just thankful that we have had the pleasure of watching both players in the green and white Hoops.
And as for who is better? I couldn’t care less. As long as Kuhn keeps helping to deliver silverware and results in Europe, that’ll do me.
