Heart & Hand pain as Rangers podcast make a ‘bruising’ confession after Celtic’s Champions League win

As the Celtic fans enjoy the adulation of a superb midweek Champions League win, Rangers supporters are still crying over the Glasgow Derby result.

Now, they tried to make themselves feel better by trying to down play Celtic’s win over Slovan Bratislava but Paddy Power quickly put paid to that with a timely reminder of their own record of being the worst ever team in the Champions League.

But as well as Celtic showing their class in Europe, Heart & Hand have admitted that the defeat to Brendan Rodgers’ team has left them feeling bruised.

Celtic’s ‘bruising’ of Rangers

Reflecting on the month of August where they drew with Hearts, got knocked out of the Champions League and got humiliated by Celtic, the Rangers podcasters pain was on show.

It was a bruising month in August, if we’re being honest.

“Coming out of that being five points behind Celtic and an 3-0 Old F*rm loss in there, plus obviously going out the Champions League qualifiers in the manner that we did.

It has been a bruising month.”

Oh dear, never mind. Maybe they shouldn’t have been so cocky last season when Clement was being hailed as a Messiah just after his appointment.

Maybe some humility wouldn’t have gone amiss considering they’ve won just one league title in 12 years.

Or maybe they should just accept the fact that their club is miles behind Celtic and no matter what manager they put in place, we will always be one step ahead.

Once they accept that realisation then maybe the pain they continually feel wouldn’t be as bad. But then again, it’s the continual hope that eventually kills them.

And that is what we all live for, right?

  1. That is a totally accurate description, they just can’t shake the huge sence of entitlement, gone are the days of referee’s giving the third knuckle handshake, Multi angle TV pictures, and to a lesser extent VAR, have seriously hindered the men in black, if they look at themselves properly, they will see that in any other civilized country they would be on one league title, and finally, getting of scot free for the EBT cheating, will forever be a stain of shame on the SFA.
