“Give the rest of us a chance”, “Mate ma Mrs is on here” – Celtic fans, Jota and Juranovic’s hilarious replies to Hoops star’s latest Instagram post

The Celtic players are all on a well-earned summer break. After winning a historic treble and with some participating in the latest international break, now is the time for them to take a couple of weeks R&R before pre-season starts in July.

Celtic’s Matt O’Riley was in training with Denmark just after the season ended and despite not representing the country in this international break, it’s fair to say his debut for the senior squad will not be that far away.

However, holiday beckons. So do photo’s of players in their moments of relaxation and Matt O’Riley posted a photo on Instagram that instantly made the male population of the Celtic support tell him to give it a by.

I mean, come on ffs! What chance does anyone have when O’Riley looks like something that has been chiselled out of stone?

The 21-year-old clearly looks after himself and it’s fair to say the Celtic fans, although they appreciate Matt looking after his fitness, were feeling a little insecure about the pic.

So was former Celtic, Josip Juranovic and current Hoops hero, Jota.

Matt O'Riley Celtic   It’s fair to say our Matt looks after himself so I’m going to end this blog here as I already feel unhandsome at the time of writing!

Celtic’s latest outstanding Jota Instagram post the Hoops support will love

Celtic have been in the news relentlessly this week. Ever since Ange Postecoglou decided to swap the green and white hoops of Celtic for the Lillywhite of Spurs, the speculation surrounding who will take over as manager has been quite incredible.

But not only that, there has also been speculation on whether or not he will come back for any of our players and our coaching staff.

So the players need a bit of love from the club, right? And Celtic set out to do that for our Portuguese winger, Jota.

Jota posted an emotional message on Instagram saying goodbye to Ange Postecoglou earlier this week so the club decided to show him some love by posting all his goals scored from season 2022/23.

It was a brilliant little pick-me-up for Jota. He has been pivotal to our success under the Ange Postecoglou revolution and he will continue to be so under the new manager.

As we continue to wait for news on who the next  Celtic manager will be, the supporters will be desperate to see the likes of Jota and Kyogo in the green and white hoops next season. Of course, there is no suggestion to say that they won’t. But public shows of affection like this certainly help make the players feel a little bit more loved.

Jota’s emotional Instagram goodbye as Celtic star pays tribute to Ange Postecoglou

Celtic star, Jota has taken to Instagram to pay tribute to Ange Postecoglou. The Portuguese winger posted on his Instagram story this beautiful message to the former Celtic gaffer.

Jota, of course was signed by Ange Postecoglou from Benfica on loan in the Australian’s first season at the club.

After impressing, Celtic spent £6m to bring him to the club permanently. The Portuguese superstar has been instrumental in helping to guide Celtic to a double in Ange’s first season and then onto the Treble in his second.

Interestingly, Jota is the first Celtic player to publicly say goodbye to his former gaffer. There seemed to be a social media clampdown but now, I think we can expect to see more of this over the coming days.

Jota’s latest Instagram post has Celtic fans worried

With all the latest goings-on surrounding Celtic and Ange Postecoglou, the supporters minds will be drifting towards Ange potentially raiding the club for our top stars.

The Celtic first team is made up of all but two of Ange’s signings. Greg Taylor and  Callum McGregor are the only two players who were at the club before the Australian arrived and the fans will be hoping that every single one of their treble heroes remain long after Postecoglou departs.

But as the fans get to grips with their manager leaving, Jota set their tongues wagging with his latest post on Instagram.

Now it could be that too much is being read into this by the fans. Many commnets on the post are telling, no begging, the Portuguese wizard to stsy at Celtic.

“Don’t you dare” and many other comments that will remain unpublished show that the fans are panicking at the prospect of some of our top stars defecting with Ange.

Hopefully, the club have a clause in place to protect their assets in the event of a development like this. If they don’t, we are in for one helluva summer.
