Motherwell crank up the heat on Rangers ahead of first Hampden game as Celtic fans watch on

Rangers are about to embark on their first game at Hampden tomorrow afternoon as they hope to keep the pressure on Celtic at the top of the league.

A 0-0 draw at Tynecastle handed Celtic a boost before they comfortably went on to skelp Kilmarnock last Sunday to go two points clear at the top of the table.

And now with the Ibrox club about to play their first home game at the national stadium, Motherwell has released a video on X which will undoubtedly boost their team and fans’ hope of getting a result and apply some pressure on Rangers not to fall further behind Celtic.

Have a watch of this:

This was, of course, the game that Motherwell beat Rangers at Ibrox last season which many would pinpoint as the moment that Rangers’ season started to unravel.

It will be a big ask. In 90 games against Rangers, The Steelmen have won only eight, drew 19 and lost 63. Indeed, their last win against Rangers prior to last season in the league was those infamous play-off games where the Ibrox club were battered 6-1 on aggregate.

The Well have drawn five since then and with Rangers needing to adjust to their new surroundings (which I’ll cover later), the Celtic fans will be hoping that Stuart Kettlewell will pull off a shock to pile even more pressure on Philippe Clement after just two games of the new season.

Let other Celtic fans know your thoughts on this all things to do with the Bhoys!
