The return of Jota to Celtic would be a signing that would absolutely galvanise the Parkhead support.
The Portuguese winger was a revelation over his two seasons at Celtic as he dazzled with his trickery, skill and how he terrorised Rangers. And who can forget the famous ‘Jota on the Wing‘?
During his time at Celtic, Jota scored 28 goals and created 26 and also helped himself to two league titles, one Scottish Cup and two League Cups. (Transfermarkt)
Jota also terrified Rangers and the Sevco support with four goals and an assist in 10 games against the Ibrox club where he won six, drew two and lost two.
And when a Celtic fan met him at the Lisbon Lions‘ Holy Land, he just had to ask the question.

And then the Celtic fans asked if he probed Jota about a return to Paradise this summer:

He’s absolutely correct, it wasn’t a no, but it also wasn’t a yes. I personally can’t see Jota giving up £200,000 per week in Saudi to come back to Glasgow for a 75% pay cut. No matter how much he loves the fans.
However, it’s great to see the Portuguese ace still has an affinity for the Celtic fans and he went out of his way to speak to this particular supporter to make his visit to the Holy Grail that little bit more special.
Jealous doesn’t even come close to how I feel about that.
