The Ibrox stadium shambles has given the Celtic fans a right good laugh over the past few days.
The mystery surrounding the delay of the upgrade of the Copeland Road end has been a bit of a circus for Scottish football.
But when you have clowns like Neil Doncaster running the show, it’s little wonder we are a laughing stock.
Calling Doncaster a clown might seem a bit harsh but after what he said about Rangers and the shambolic Ibrox sh-tshow that’s going on, you’ll see why.
Doncaster talks up Rangers and John Bennett
Doncaster said (Sky Sports Scotland), “Yeah, unfortunately these things do happen.
“I used to run a club and we had to build a stand and work very closely with the league to ensure that our fixtures went ahead with only three parts of the ground available for sale.
“So now that the fixtures are out, we will be liaising with Rangers. Obviously they’ve got a far better handle on the works than we do.
“And we’ll be doing our best to work with them to try to get them through what is clearly a difficult situation.
“We’ve been very impressed with the way that the new chairman, John Bennett, has tried to strengthen relationships across the game and we’ll certainly be looking to work with him and his team to be as flexible as we can be, whilst being fair to everyone else.”
Doncaster seems to have a short memory. Has he forgotten about the fuss Rangers made over the cinch sponsorship deal?
Has he also forgotten how Rangers heavily criticised Dundee for their waterlogged pitch and now can’t even get their own house in order for next season?
Maybe Patrick Thistle fans will also be fuming about how their stadium upgrade left them £600k out of pocket after the SPFL lacked compassion after heavy weather disrupted the project?
Shocking comments form Doncaster which once again prove he is spineless when it comes to standing up and sanctioning the Ibrox club.
They should be fined for every game that has to be rescheduled just like they did to Dundee after Rangers pushed for it Scottish football is the biggest joke in football one rule for Rangers and another for the rest !
