Ibrox Stadium

Celtic fans will love what Dundee posted on social media as Rangers’ Ibrox debacle unfolds

It been quite the couple of days for the Celtic fans on social media where laughing at Rangers has been concerned.

The Govan club have been embroiled in all sorts of hilarity as the Ibrox stadium shambles unfolds and it’s left the Rangers fans feeling bemused and the Celtic fans rolling about the isles in laughter.

The Copland Stand upgrades have hit a bit of a snag and it seems that supplies being imported on the cheap from Asia are going to be delayed for several weeks.

That means Rangers are in a bit of a pickle a Ibrox is currently unusable which means they will need to find somewhere to kick off the new season for the next few months.

Dundee weigh in on Rangers

We all know the stink the Ibrox club kicked up after Dundee’s waterlogged pitch caused their game to be postponed three times last season.

And in a superb, but simple, tweet on X, the Tayside club hit back at Rangers today.

Have a look at this:

In a statement released at the time, Rangers said of the postponements, “The negligence and unprofessionalism demonstrated by Dundee Football Club, where they have repeatedly breached SPFL rules, continues to have a damaging effect on the top professional league in the country.

To accuse Dundee of lacking professionalism and making the game look bad for something they have no control over looks idiotic compared to what Rangers have done, which the Ibrox club have FULL control over.

Statement FC are an embarrassment to the Scottish game and they should be punished to the full letter of the law because that is the correct thing to do, right Rangers?

What’s going to happen moving forward is anyone’s guess but I’m sure the SFA and the SPFL will punish the Ibrox club accordingly.
