Celtic fans won’t believe why BBC Sportsound bizarrely made a live Parkhead apology after season-long silence on Ibrox sectarianism

Celtic fans have had to watch, listen and read about a certain BBC journalist’s criticism of the Parkhead songbook whilst they turn a deaf ear to what has been belted out from the Ibrox stands every week.

Tom English is, bizarrely, one of Celtic’s biggest critics. Constantly battering on about the songs the supporters sing, the BBC journalist and pundit remains incredibly quiet on the songs of hate from the club across the water.

The killing of Catholics must be widely accepted by the BBC because not once have they done what Sportsound did yesterday after Celtic scored against Rangers.

BBC apologise for Celtic fan bad language

After Celtic scored their second goal against Rangers, a Celtic fan was heard saying this:

But when The Billy Boys rings out over Ibrox? Absolute silence. No Pope of Rome? Nothing. A Celtic fan calls the referee a clown for not booking a Rangers player and it’s a quick all-out apology.

It’s actually quite an embarrassing stance to take and one that will be rammed down their throats the next time the Ibrox songbook is rolled out and they say nothing.

Brendan Rodgers once spoke about a media narrative surrounding him and his team. It seems now that there is one that surrounds our fans and it needs called out.

Let other Celtic fans know your thoughts on this all things to do with the Bhoys!
