Rangers captain, James Tavernier

The Scottish Premiership title looks like it could be going Celtic’s way after the 3-0 win over St Mirren put us four points clear at the top of the league.

The Dundee game now takes a different complexion as Rangers now know that any further dropped points will effectively put one Celtic hand on the trophy this season.

But back to yesterday. The fallout of the Rangers defeat will probably carry on for the rest of the week but it was James Tavernier‘s post-match comments that went viral after a Celtic fan made a superb mashup of the Englishman’s comments.

Absolutely brilliant. Tavernier was inducted into the Rangers Hall of Fame even though he captained the side over one of Celtic’s most successful periods in their history.

Three trophies in twelve years is a shocking return and shows the decline in standards over at Rangers. I hope those standards continue to be upheld as it looks like the League Cup win they got earlier in the season may be the only thing they get to celebrate.
