Roger Hannah tells a Celtic fan the real reason why Rangers didn’t play Dundee last week

Roger Hannah talking Celtic

Rangers’ postponed game against Dundee has caused all sorts of headlines as the Ibrox club to wrestle the title from Celtic this season.

Now we have had to listen to Philippe Clement bump his gums for two weeks on the waterlogged pitch and how he is unhappy about the Dens Park side not being able to fulfil the fixture.

Now, we all know that there was an opportunity to play the game before the Glasgow Derby last week. The weather was dry and the pitch was in a decent state.

So why did Rangers not take it? Why did the SPFL not force them to play it because we are in a situation now where the game must be played AFTER the conclusion of fixtures which determines the top-six split

Celtic fans won’t believe Rangers’ Dundee excuse

As always, there was a lot of chatter surrounding the postponement of the fixture. It not only messes up the title race but it’s a shocking look for the Scottish game.

So when asked by a Celtic fan why the game wasn’t played on the first available date as per the SPFL rules, Roger Hannah‘s reason will leave the Hoops support stunned.

That’s quite incredible. So not only Rangers dictating to the SFA who can and who cannot referee their games, they are also telling the SPFL when they want to fulfil their outstanding fixtures.

And Hannah’s comments also makes we wonder. If both clubs didn’t want to play it last week, why is Clement lying about it today?

Have a watch of this:

That is quite a stunning new pattern of assistance we have here and it is one that I hope comes back to bite them when Celtic win on Saturday and they lost against Ross County up at Dingwall on Sunday.
