The fallout of the Glasgow Derby brought in Graeme Souness as the former Rangers manager had his say on his old team’s draw with Celtic.
The Fabio Silva dive has caused the majority of the headlines this week as the Ibrox attacker dived to win a VAR penalty that sparked a Rangers comeback.
Pundits and ex-players have all had their say on the incident but it was Chris Sutton‘s in-game commentary that enraged Graeme Souness after he accused the former Celtic hero of being biased.
Graeme Souness shares why he likes Chris Sutton
Souness was raging at Sutton and on talkSPORT, the ex-Ibrox idol said, “I’m reluctant to go strong on Chris Sutton because he turned up at a charity event two weeks ago for me and we chatted, he’s funny.
“But I can’t believe how biased Chris is when he’s talking about Rangers.”
This is the same Souness who incessantly claimed that the Silva dive was a stonewall penalty. Talk about bias?
However, Sutton was quick to fire back at Souness on X:

The Celtic fans, as we all know, don’t suffer fools gladly and in Souness, they see a huge one after his comments against Sutton.
And whilst he is disliked because of the obvious Rangers link, the Celtic fans let Souness have it after his embarrassing antics on live radio:

Souness is a dinosaur he actually thought VAR were listening to your commentary.He called you out for being bias then admitted he is bias towards *rangers 🤷🏼♂️.if anything you are not shy in letting celtic know their failings.

Old Souey is used to the days of succulent lamb when there were no dissenting voices in the SMSM. You could manage an English club and still get an EBT from Rangers, and no one would question it. Pundits with differing opinions on decisions must be a shocker for the old soul.
