As Rangers huffed and puffed against Hibs this afternoon, it took another helping hand from VAR to give them the edge in an award that left the Celtic fans stunned
For months and months I have spoken about Alan Morrison and his great work at highlighting a pattern of assistance that referees seem to be giving the Ibrox club this season and it’s happened again this afternoon.
But not only did they get another dodgy penalty award, Rangers 17th spot kick is now a record-ever award to any one club in a season in Scotland.

But for now, have a watch of this award at Ibrox when the scores were tied at 0-0 with Rangers struggling to break down Hibs:
That’s quite something right? And you have to ask yourself a question. Would any other club in the league get that decision? I don’t think so.
And it’s little wonder the Celtic fans on Lint’s post were left stunned.
Many agreed that no other club would get that penalty award and others were left disgusted at the match officials.

The amount of luck this club has and how sharp eyed the officials are whenever officiating a Rangers game really is quite something.
So as it stands, Rangers are back on top of the league until we face Livingston at Almondvale tomorrow lunchtime.
But even if Celtic to win and claim the top spot, you wouldn’t bet against Rangers getting another helping hand at the Glasgow Derby at Ibrox next weekend now, would you?
