Hyunjun Yang’s sending-off for Celtic was one spark in a chain of events that has led to the club releasing a statement yesterday towards the SFA.
Celtic revealed that they are planning to appeal the winger’s red card after strongly disagreeing with John Beaton making Don Robertson review the incident after initially brandishing a yellow card.
But after sending Yang off and awarding Hearts an embarrassing penalty, Celtic are now at loggerheads with the SFA with the appeal looking set to be held at some point this week.
However, whilst the Celtic fans rage, the Rangers fans abandon their Everyone Anyone initiative with their thinly veiled racist comments against the Hoops winger on this thread on X.
The comments started off okay…

Then one fan starts the ball rolling with a stupid comparison to Duncan Ferguson:
Duncan Ferguson went to prison for far less , that’s a proper Karate kick to the face , at least a 10 game ban and 3 Months in Barlinnie
— Jamie Giles (@Jamiebeargiles) March 3, 2024
Jackie chan would be proud of that kick! Red all day

And this Celtic fan nails it with this statement on the thread:
Try not to be racist as a rangers fan. Difficulty level: impossible

Somone should explain to these morons that it’s the 21st century but I suppose I can sympathise with them because it must be hard to stay up to date with the times when your watch is constantly stuck on 1690.
