Celtic’s result at Tynecastle, thankfully, hasn’t created any real ramifications in this tight race for the Scottish Premiership title.
The 2-0 defeat leaves the league positions as they were as Rangers lost to Motherwell at Ibrox yesterday.
However, there is no denying that the Hoops blew their chance to assert themselves at the top of the league after Adam Idah missed a first-half penalty.
But it was the decision to send Hyunjun Yang that really irked Brendan Rodgers. The Celtic manager was fuming at full time and was in no doubt that the officials cost his team in Edinburgh today.
And popular football fan account Pie & Bovril got into the act yesterday when on social media it bizarrely claimed that Yang’s red card was very similar to the one St Mirren received for a challenge on Joe Hart just two short months ago.
Watch the video below:
And if you compare it to the Yang challenge below:
And you can clearly see that there is nothing similar at all about either of those challenges so we at Born Celtic had to call out this nonsense:
You’ve had a bit of nightmare here mate.

And, to be fair, I wasn’t the only one calling it out. There were many Celtic fans left scratching their heads at this claim and it’s fair to say that the popular podcaster has gone down in many of the Hoops supporters’ estimations after this one.
