Alan Hutton is still struggling with numbers as former EBT recipient makes £15m Rangers player claim the Celtic fans will find hilarious

Numbers and Rangers don’t go well together. Especially with former Sevco players.

With the Ibrox club thinking natural order has been restored after going top of the league, what is abundantly clear is that if they don’t sort out their finances, the only order that will be restored is a winding up one.

Which is why Alan Hutton is desperate to peddle one of their players for £15m. Yes, now I know you are all thinking, what player is he talking about? Which one is seriously worth that kind of money?

Hold onto your hats.

Hutton (who had a £364k EBT) said [Football Insider], “Selling Butland would be pure profit, but it wouldn’t take £15million.

“He’s massive in terms of what Rangers are trying to do moving forwards.

“I know there was interest in him in January and Rangers knocked it back.

“You can see that he has a calming influence on the whole team.

“He never looks flustered, he’s good on the ball and he makes big saves in big moments.

“He’s been outstanding. I understand that money talks, but I wouldn’t want to take it.”

Now look, I get it. He’s having a good season in a Sevco team that is challenging for the title because, and let’s be honest, Celtic are so poor.

If Brendan Rodgers got his act together and had this team playing to half of their capabilities, Sevco, and Butland’s wild valuation, wouldn’t be anywhere near us.

So let them pretend they have a player worth that kind of money. Because when we do finally win this league, they will eventually need to sell him to keep the lights on. Although they won’t get anywhere close to £15m for him.
