The second red card Rangers should have had at Celtic Park no one is talking about

Match Day Celtic Park

The cry from the Rangers fans tonight is how Celtic never got a red card for some challenges put in in the 2-1 win yesterday afternoon.

I said earlier today that I can’t recall any challenges that merited a red card for any of our players but it turns out that the sending off the Rangers fans really wanted has highlighted that one of their players should have received their matching orders along with Leon Balogun at Celtic Park.

The footage below shows how Conor Goldson faked an injury to help avoid being sent off for dangerous fouls play when he went studs high on Paulo Bernardo:

It really was embarrassing act of gamesmanship that even the most hardened of Rangers fans should have been embarrassed about.

But as it happens, Goldson stayed on the park, Rangers still got beat for the second time this season off Celtic and we remain top of the league.

Whilst The Rangers demand answers from the SFA, the Celtic fans celebrate tonight yet another Glasgow Derby win.

The New Year is going to be brilliant this year knowing that the meltdown from across the city is going to end 2023 and continue well into 2024 as they try and come up with many excuses for not beating Celtic once more when it matters.

Enjoy your New Year my fellow Celtic fans as the second half of the season is going to brilliant.
