“Dreadful”, “Gone in January” – Rangers fans turn on Todd Cantwell after Celtic defeat

Ibrox Stadium

The Ibrox meltdown continues as the scattergun comes out after another Glasgow Derby defeat to Celtic.

The 2-1 defeat at Celtic Park has sent the Rangers fans over the edge and as they look to point the finger of blame rather than admit they are just not good enough, Todd Cantwell comes under the spotlight.

TikTok Todd was taught a lesson today and whilst he likes to do his talking on social media, he failed once again to do it on the park in the Glasgow Derby.

And the Rangers fans are sick of him. First up to take aim at the hair and wearing midfielder is Follow Follow. And they took no prisoners.

On a thread simply named “Cantwell” the fans forum ripped Cantwell a new one as they all predicted that he will be a goner under their new manager, Philippe Clement.

One fan said, “He should have been subbed after twenty minutes.” whilst another said his time is almost up at Rangers, “Once Clement gets his own players in Cantwell wil get moved on.”

This fan was absolutely furious, “I have previously been a big fan of Cantwell but today was dreadful.

The first half was the Cantwell Show in his own head. He didn’t make good decisions when he should have been laying it off for a goal scoring chance, preferring to go it alone.

Very poor. He made it all about himself. He’s definitely talented but I would sell and replace now..”

And this was the comment of the thread, “The cheering of the Celtic fans as he was taken off was humiliating.”

Humiliating? I thought that was first class!
