Well it also seems that Aberdeen have also jumped the gun this week. Photos of the celebratory Pittodrie team bus with ‘League Cup Winners’ emblazoned on it published on Follow Follow enraged the Ibrox support and they went into full blown meltdown in a thread on the toxic forum.
One Rangers fan wasn’t impressed but did highlight the hypocrisy of the thread with this zinger, “I agree but the thing for me with the Edmiston House shit show is the fact the club have the brass neck to charge us £20 a shot for picture of a trophy we haven’t won in 12 years.
“They should be allowing it to be free as a thank you to fans for sticking by them all these years and especially with it being a week before Christmas.
“But no, Bisgrove would rather charge us the max for European games, bring out 4 shirts a season and all the other ways to bleed fans dry.“
“I suppose Edmiston House needs to bring money in somehow seeing as they have absolutely f—– it.“
Another replied, “I’ve somehow missed this.
“£20 a whip for a picture with the League Cup?? That is a riddy.”
Someone couldn’t believe people were gullible enough to pay that price, “We actually sold slots for that? Really?“
When is was pointed out that it was ‘only’ £6 for a photo one fan still raged, “Bit of a brass neck either way!”
In fact the Ibrox bean counters are charging £6.50 per photo but let’s not split hairs over 50p.
Or maybe we should because it only took to of those 50p coins to buy their club. Now that’s value for money!
