“It looks as though it would be a good fit for Celtic” – Mark Guidi tips ‘exceptional’ transfer move

Ange Postecoglou’s record in the transfer market is brilliant it’s fair to say.

Almost all of his signings have hit the mark with the exception of Yosuke Ideguchi, who has just had a poor run of luck at the beginning of his Celtic career.

So when the gaffer goes into the transfer market, you know the player he is after is firstly, going to be quality and secondly, will fit easily into his side.

And with Celtic being linked to Korean striker Cho gue-Sung, you just know that with Ange’s knowledge of the Far East, this will be another in the long line of successful signings.

As does journalist Mark Guidi.

Speaking on The Go Radio Football Show, Guidi said, “That’s the forward link again that makes you wonder, is there something going on with Giakoumakis.

“So we’ll wait and see. gue-Sung looks a quality player, you know, South Korea, a lot of talent coming in from there into European football.

So yeah, it’s one to keep an eye on and going with some of the footage that I’ve seen and some of the comments, then it looks as though it would be a good fit for Celtic.

And one thing, he hasn’t, and he won’t get every signing right, but Ange Postecoglou’s record in the transfer market, particularly when it’s players that that he knows, that he’s getting tipped off about then his record is pretty exceptional.”
