“Chris is in the same boat” – Ange Postecoglou addresses Jullien’s future

Celtic Park

Is it really time for Chris Jullien to leave Celtic?

Or to put it another way, is it just time for him to go after his outburst over three weeks ago?

Because the minute you turn on the manager, especially this manager, the game’s a bogey.

Frustrated with his lack of game time, it seems that the Frenchman is trying to engineer his move away from Paradise..

When asked about this [Glasgow Times], gaffer Ange Postecoglou said, “I’m pretty relaxed about these things, but it is important with all the players that they make decisions that are best for them. If that’s with this football club then fine, but if it’s not, then that’s fine as well.

“That’s pretty much in Christopher’s hands, it’s about what he thinks is best for his own future.

“I’ve said all along, and it was the same last year with Ryan (Christie), Odsonne (Edouard) and Kristoffer Ajer when they were here and doing the same sort of things in pre-season.

“I think if you ask those boys they would say that I treated them the same as everyone else, and Chris is in the same boat.

“What happens, that will take it’s natural course if and when decisions have to be made.”

Ange must be the most laid back manager on the planet when dealing with players who want to leave.

And it will be what it will be.

If Jullien wants to stay, then great, if not, then we move on.
