And here we go! It looks like Celtic are about to capture their 4th summer signing of the transfer window this week.
Alexandre Bernabei is hotly tipped to become a Celtic player after the player has reportedly been told he has permission to fly to Glasgow for his medical ahead of his £3.75m move to the Hoops.
According to Football Insider, Celtic ‘sources’ have told them that the deal is set to be concluded after a medical at the club and the contract is ready to be signed.
This will end four weeks of speculation surrounding the player and will give Greg Taylor some much needed competition at left back for next season.
Sky Sports, South American football expert Tim Vickery gave his opinion on the full back and it is fair to say the Celtic fans are in for a treat next season. Vickery said, “Bernabei has got that capacity to get into the penalty area and score goals.
“Nice left foot, good with set pieces, quick, interesting.”
This won’t be the last signing of the window by the club as they are in the market for a defensive midfielder and, possibly, another striker.
