This just isn’t going to go away is it?
The John McGinn to Celtic story was almost four years ago now and there are still people going on about how Celtic missed the boat here.
High profile twitter account Pie & Bovril took to twitter tonight to bizarrely take a swing at Celtic for failing to sign McGinn and made this daft claim:
Conveniently forgetting that Hibs Chairman Rod Petrie was never going to sell him to Celtic anyway, the account must have been inspired for this classic twitter post after watching the Villa player for Scotland tonight.
Now I’m not sure where he’s getting the £100m figure from but he’s clearly had a few too many shandies before tweeting that.
