“He couldn’t wait to get out the club” – Hugh Keevins brilliantly accuses Gerrard of jumping ship

It truly was a stunning turn of events. Incredible how the former Rangers manager went from “Do I look happy” to “I’m getting the f*ck out of here!”

With Rangers posting losses of £23m and Gerrard not having a penny to spend in two transfer windows, it does look like the Liverpool legend had jumped ship before the inevitable happened. And let’s face it. If performances and results had continued to drop at the rate they already have, he would have been pushed. No question.

And this theory is backed up by Hugh Keevins when speaking on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard, he made his assertion that Gerrard jumped from the Ibrox ship, “The speed at which Steven Gerrard left Ibrox told me that he couldn’t wait to get out of the club and go back to England.

We’ll see how far they can go down there. And I think the performances since the start of the season, although Rangers are on top of the league with a four point advantage over Celtic, the performances have not been up to the mark.

I think complacency has set in. Carelessness has set in and Giovanni van Bronckhort’s appointment just resets the dial and gets everyone going again.

If a pundit like Hugh Keevins can make that assertion, then surely the Govan support can put two and two together and work out that there is disharmony in the dressing room.

Of course, the Rangers fans will point to Thursday’s Europa League result and claim all is well, but as we all know, one swallow does not make a summer.

  1. You’re being a bit presumptuous thinking the zombies can put 2 and 2 together. If 1 = 55, then 2+2 surely equals 220😂
