Three major incidents that targeted Celtic fans the media ignored. They should hang their heads in shame

Sevco fans shame themselves and Walter Smith’s memory

After everything that has happened over the last few days, between Celtic and Rangers losing legends of the club, you would think that at least common ground would have been reached by both sets of fans.

Clearly not. As one group of fans set up a foodbank collection for the needy this Christmas, another set sang a sickening song about Celtic legend Tommy Burns.

In a shameful display, I await the usual cries of ‘it’s a small minority’ but we are talking here of a full away support partaking in a song that not only shames their club, but would seriously embarrass the late Walter Smith.

Smith was a true friend of the legendary Celt and, alongside Ally McCoist, was a pallbearer at Tommy’s funeral.

It is a sickening scene and you could imagine Walter walking into that stand and handing out a few verbals if he was still here to do so.

There was also accusations that a song about Bertie Auld was sung during the match but as yet I have not seen any footage.
