“A Rangers team full of what? – BBC journalist rinsed after unnoticed comment prior to Youth Cup Final against Celtic

Out of all the things I have heard over the last few weeks about Rangers and their players, this is a first. Genuinely.

Prior to Celtic’s 6-5 win over Rangers in the Youth Cup Final, Neil McCann was discussing the youth prospects from Ibrox when BBC reporter Jane Lewis came away with this belter:

Superstars. Super-effin-stars. That’s just top of the range, Grade A nonsense right there.

Not one of their “superstars” would even get on our bench, never mind in our team.

But whatever suits the narrative though eh, Jane?

Young Celtic captain reveals what Ange and Calmac told him before 6-5 win over Rangers

Ure said that Callum McGregor is his inspiration before disclosing what the Celtic captain and the manager, Nage Postecoglou prior to the 6-5 win over Rangers.

“Hopefully I’m the same and this can continue,” the teenager said. “He’s a great role model. He plays the same position as me. I can look at his game and try to take bits from it and add it to mine.

“The way he conducts himself on and off the pitch is remarkable and he’d a great role model for me.

“He’s someone I aspire to, the club captain and a perfect example of what it takes to become a professional football player and the captain of Celtic.

“He wished us good luck, and told us to stay calm and play our game which we tried. We tried to play our game and stick to the style. I thought attacking wise we did.

“The way our rotations work and the way we play… But defensively, the whole team needs to get better. With those wee changes it would be the perfect performance.

“The manager just said the same – good luck, stay composed, nothing changes.

“At the end of the day it’s a game of football. If we play our own game we know that we can beat anybody on our day but our performance needs to come and I thought tonight in an attacking sense we showed that.”

And speaking of Callum McGregor, young Ure was in awe of his hero, “He plays position as me. I can look at his game and try to take bits from it and add it to mine.

There is not doubt that young Ure is a talent after his Man of the Match performance on Wednesday. We will definitely be keeping an eye on the young man as his career develops at Celtic.

Rangers fans rage as Zak Lovelace “loves” Jota’s Instagram post of Scottish Cup Celtic goal celebration

Uh oh. It looks like one of Rangers young cubs have upset the Daddy Bears. Young Zak Lovelace is heading for the banned list after getting up to no good on Instagram.

The Rangers Youth player liked Jota’s picture of himself celebrating his winner in the Glasgow Derby Scottish Cup semi final.

The iconic picture shows the Portuguese winger standing in front of the Rangers end at Hampden with his arms spread and the Bears on Twitter are less than impressed with Lovelace:

Poor Zak. All he’s doing is showing his appreciation for a talented footballer. After all, there are not many of them at his own club.

The pain is all too evident almost one week on from Celtic ending their season. With their main rivals going for a possible treble, the Rangers fans have to deal with ignomy of ending the season trophyless.

Eleven years. Two trophies. £100m in losses and a board of directors abandoning a sinking ship, I don’t really blame Lovelace for enjoying at least something about football.

Outstanding unseen footage of Celtic mascot casually ignoring Rangers stars revealed

What a time to be a Celtic fan.

After reaching yet another Scottish Cup final on the way to a possible treble, the pain that our Glasgow rivals are going through is just tremendous.

But it’s not just the pain on the park that we continually deliver to them that makes being a Celtic fan all the more sweeter.

The pain of it is just as good!

Firstly we had the Celtic fans mocking the coronation as 20,000 fans told the Monarchy where to shove it.

Then we had Piers Morgan crying into his cornflakes about it.

We also had the Hampden ballboys having a cheeky celebration behind Allan McGregor’s goal as Jota nodded home the winner. And then we have this.

A Celtic mascot completely dissing the whole Rangers team prior to kick-off with a glorious smile on his face:

What a brilliant display of the wee man knowing his place in the final and putting the Rangers players in theirs.

The Banter Years continue to flow in full swing as Ange keeps his stranglehold on Scottish football.
