Leeds United chasing Celtic ‘wonderkid’

Celtic Park

This bloody club. If they’re not being linked with our manager for the 100th time in two weeks, they are now chasing our young stars.

And Leeds are no stranger to jumping and stealing our players of the future.

Young Leo Hjelde made the switch the EPL two seasons ago and the left back currently finds himself out on loan to Championship side Rotherham.

Well, it seems that they are looking to poach young Aidan Borland according to Leeds Live and the 15 year old is being targeted by many clubs down south.

Billed as one of the best talents the club has produced, Borland is also being eyed by Aston Villa.

Ange Postecoglou is looking to change the way the club is set up to allow for a pathway of progression to the first team when he said, “I was keen to restructure our coaching set-up, with a hugely important element of this being the development of a close link between the first team and B Team coaching structures as we look to create a conveyor belt of talent going between the B Team directly up to the first team.

Hopefully, Borland will see this and will continue his development in Paradise.
