Hugh Keevins’ is now on the banned list after his view on Ange’s ‘dinner’ comments

Ticket office at Celtic Park

The comment was a classic and the minute it left Ange’s lips, you knew it would cause a meltdown ivee at Ibrox.

But Ange’s answer to what he thought about the situation at Ibrox with the appointment of Beale is just classic Ange.

What did the media expect him to say.

All through his tenure at Celtic he has always maintained that his sole focus is always on our club.

Nothing else.

So when Ange said what he said, he was just being honest.

And rather surprisingly, Hugh Keevins BACKED the Celtic bosses words.

Speaking on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard Keevins said, “I think Ange’s reference to his dinner will be taken as an insult by the Rangers fans but regarded as a laugh by the Celtic fans.

I do not think it is an insult in any way shape or form. That’s just an Angeism.

He just has a different approach to the football world from the rest of the people in this country probably.

So he’ll worry about Michael Beale when it’s time to worry about Michael Beale, when Celtic play Rangers in January.”

It doesn’t take much to upset the Ibrox hordes. No sooner had Ange said it, the usual bile and diatribe was being belted out by the Govan fans on Follow Follow.

Good on him I say. There is absolutely no point in worrying about something you can’t control.

He’ll be sacked by summer anyway
