VAR is highlighting what we have known for years.
The referees are not incompetent.
We have been the victim of every single VAR injustice that is possible since the system was introduced to our game.
And whilst we still sit top of the league in spite of the new system, our Glasgow rivals get the benefit of every decision the video ref makes in their fixtures.
Two handballs last night were ignored at Aberdeen whilst our players are penalised for not being double jointed enough to get their arms out of the way of a ball being fired at them at point blank range.
Abada’s offside goal tonight proves that incompetent referees have infested our game and there is absolutely nothing wr can do about it.
The offside rule states: “A player in an offside position receiving the ball from an opponent who deliberately plays the ball (except from a deliberate save by any opponent) is not considered to have gained an advantage.”
So looking at this footage:
Abada is onside. Bear in mind, THREE refs, THREE looked at that goal and decides between the THREE of them that Abada was offside. That’s frightening.
Legally, I need to say that the refs have made a huge mistake when in reality I want to say something else.
It’s time our board called this out. It’s time for Peter Lawwell to earn his first crust when he takes the reigns in January.
The ref and those that check and run VAR are blatant cheats how are they aloud to get away with it.
