Follow Follow’s VAR penalty pain after Celtic’s superb fightback at Rangers

Celtic’s Ibrox fightback has caused some tremendous pain on Follow Follow after Rangers bottled to hang on to a 2-0 lead in the Glasgow Derby.

Goals from Kieran Tierney and late VAR penalty from Reo Hatate rescued a point for Celtic as the Glasgow Derby finally burst into life in the second half for the Scottish champions.

No sooner had John Beaton been called to the monitor, the meltdown began on Follow Follow as Rangers fans raged at the award of the penalty kick.

Hatate converted the penalty to rescue a point for Celtic, but as Beaton made up his mind, the Rangers fan forum imploded.

Now, bear in mind that the Rangers defender’s arm deflected the ball into Jack Butland’s path and away from goal, it was as clear a penalty as any one will see.

Except those people on Follow Follow.

For Celtic, they remain in third place in the Scottish Premiership table with the chance to go second if they beat Aberdeen on Wednesday night.

For Rangers and Follow Follow, they lick their wounds knowing that in yet another meaningful game against Celtic, the Ibrox club’s bottle crashed.
